This September, history and heritage come alive on the shores of Tellico Lake. The 34th Annual Cherokee Fall Festival returns to the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore, Tennessee, on September 6–7, 2025. From Native American dance and storytelling to artisan crafts and traditional food, this annual event is a beloved celebration of Cherokee culture — and a fun, family-friendly weekend for all ages.

Adding a unique twist this year, members of the STARFLEET USS Tanasi fan chapter will be attending on Saturday as part of their “away mission.” They’ll mingle with festival-goers and celebrate cultural exchange, showing how heritage and storytelling extend across generations — and even galaxies!
