Whether you’re watching the sky explode over Tellico Lake, cheering on the parade in downtown Loudon, or enjoying live music and food trucks with neighbors in Vonore, this region offers an unforgettable blend of tradition and natural beauty. From the Red, White & Boom celebration in Vonore to Rockin’ the Docks in Lenoir City, there’s something for everyone—families, couples, and visitors alike. As you plan your holiday festivities, keep local firework laws in mind to ensure a safe and respectful celebration. While consumer fireworks are legal across Tennessee, cities and counties can set their own restrictions. In Monroe and Loudon counties, fireworks are generally permitted on July 3 and July 4 only, and use outside those dates may fall under local noise ordinances. Fireworks are typically allowed between 10:00 AM and 11:00 PM, with extended hours until midnight on July 4. Always use fireworks responsibly—never near dry brush, docks, or homes—and clean up debris to keep our lakes and communities beautiful. Wishing you a safe, sparkling, and spectacular Fourth of July in East Tennessee!
